Share the Wealth & All of Your Great Material TeachersPayTeachers.com When you arrive at the homepage for TeachersPayTeachers.com, you can browse and add products to your cart without ever logging in.  However, if you plan to purchase (or download FREE items), you will need to create an account.   Now, depending on whether you click on Log In or Join for Free you will be directed to different pages, and have different buying and selling options.  You can choose to upgrade your buyer only account to a seller account at a later date.  In fact, that's what I decided to do. Making the content for your site is what you do everyday.  You can publish almost EVERY part of your teaching day, from prepping and planning, to lessons, activities,  and games, to quizzes and tests, and even teacher reflection logs!  Someone out there will be EXTREMELY grateful that you have developed a system and that they don't have to create their own. We take care of the sales transactions and deliver instant downloads to buyers. It's very easy! Seller Membership Options  We offer two levels of Seller Memberships, Basic and Premium. Basic Membership is FREE and offers a 60% royalty on gross sales and these Royalties. Premium Membership costs $59.95 annually but offers a much more generous 85% royalty on gross sales and no transaction fees. Renewal is automatic unless you cancel your account and you can post an unlimited number of items. Setting up Your Store  Your catalog will exist at a unique store URL that's created when you set up your store. You will be able to create a profile, upload a picture of yourself or an individualized logo, and choose up to four featured products. At any time, you can edit your listings, alter the titles and descriptions, change your prices, and swap in revised versions of your products. How We Pay You  Since we launched in 2006, teachers have earned millions of dollars on TpT. We pay out all earnings monthly via PayPal or Dowala. If you don't already have a PayPal or Dowala account, simply sign up for one at PayPal.com or Dowala.com and tell us this account email address. You can keep track of your sales in real time from your Seller Dashboard. So what does it look like when you have an account and want to upload material?  It REALLY IS SIMPLE.  Just click on your name where it says Hi Your Name Here, or click My TpT and select Dashboard. Click ADD NEW PRODUCT and it takes you to a screen where you: Upload the file Give it a name and description Click to create a copyright code that you can add to your description Answer EASY questions about the file type, number of pages, etc. Determine the price for your document and how you want to get paid Once you've done all that, your account page will show you which items you've posted, their cost, and some other info.  Browsers will be able to see your active product and purchase from your site.  Mine looks like this now. As you can see, I'm totally new to this.  I don't even have any followers yet!  I have only posted content for free, so I can't give feedback on the payout process.  (More future content to blog about!!)  But, like I said before, I've gotten a lot of great material from the site, and have been day-dreaming for almost a year about putting my content up on the web.  Maybe the next things I'll try to sell, but for now, I'll share for free.
